Mvuu Wilderness Lodge

is situated on the banks of the Shire River, an hour or so south of Lake Malawi and is run in partnership with Malawi National Parks. The park teems with big game such as elephant, hippo, leopard, sable, hartebeest and black rhino. The ecosystems vary from the fast flowing river to dense riverine forest to woodlands to open savannas and mountains. It is one of the best birding spots in Central Africa. Activities include day and night game drives, walking, birding and boat safaris. Accommodation at the Lodge is in 4 twin-bedded luxury tents with en suite facilities.
