The Serengeti
The Serengeti is arguably Africa's premier game park and is the
setting for the most awesome wildlife spectacle on earth. The seemingly
endless plains are home to 1.5 million animals including both migratory
and resident populations of wildebeest, gazelle, zebra, antelope, topi,
and buffalo. These huge herds spread out on the plains from horizon to
horizon have become familiar from documentary films. Major predators,
in particular lions and leopards, are prevalent.
Serengeti Tented Camp
This is a mobile camp that periodically moves with the migration so the
gameviewing is always spectacular. This camp comprises 8 large twin
bedded luxury walk-in tents with ensuite facilities and a large
dining/bar tent. Your days will be spent on game drives among the
famous migrating herds of the Serengeti.
Serengeti Serena Lodge
This lodge is set high on a hill with
breathtaking vistas of landscape teeming with game. The lodge design is
simple but stunning , inspired by a traditional African village,
separate rondeval "huts" house the 66 luxury guest rooms. Serena offers
daily game drives, sunset cocktails by the pool, traditional dancing
and performances evenings, wilderness breakfasts and lunches.
Migration Camp
This camp is a permanent tented camp
built within the rocks of a kopje in the picturesque Ndassiata Hills
overlooking the Grumeti River. The camp offers traditional game drives
as well as walking safaris over the river rope bridge and past
Poacher's Hill. This is a small tented camp with guest areas lit with
hurricane lamps and camp fires creating a unique bush feel.
