ITINERARY
Day 1: Pretoria To Hazyview
Distance: 400km
Highlights: Scenic mountain passes, Long Tom Cannons
Overnight in Hazyview
We leave Pretoria for Hazyview taking the scenic route via De Berg pass (highest tar road in Mpumulanga) and the Long Tom pass. Hazyview is right in the heart of Mpumulanga and makes an ideal base for exploring the magnificent surrounds. Tonight you have the choice of dining either at the hotel or one of the many excellent restaurants in Hazyview.

Day 2: Panorama route
Distance: 250km
Highlights: Gods Window, Moholoholo Rehab centre, Bourke's luck potholes, The Three Rondavels, Waterfalls, Magical views sites
Overnight in Hazyview
Waterfalls, magical view sites and Winding Mountain Passes will make today one of the highlights of the tour - Gods Window- Berlin & Lisbon falls- Bourke's Luck potholes- Animal Rehab centre etc. Tonight you will enjoy an Evening festival at the Shangaan Cultural Village, a truly African experience which includes dances and a delicious traditional meal.

Day 3: Kruger National Park
Distance 0-50km
Highlights: Safari, African wildlife
Overnight in Hazyview
Today we take a break from the motorcycles and board a game viewing Safari vehicle which transports us into the Kruger National Park. This world famous wildlife reserve is home to the BIG 5 and is roughly the size of a small country. The vastness of the park allows ample opportunity to view wild animals in their natural habitat. We will have a full day to spot lions, elephants, birds and many different species of animals.

Day 4: Hazyview to Swaziland
Distance: 300km
Highlights: Kingdom of Swaziland
Overnight in Swaziland
After breakfast we depart for the Kingdom of Swaziland, home of the friendly Swazi people. After border procedures (passport and possibly visa required), we weave our way along winding country roads and mountain passes. Today we visit Swaziland's own glass factory (Ngwenya Glass). There are many excellent restaurants, pubs and craft markets in the Ezulweni Valley where we will overnight at an excellent country lodge, with its own magnificent restaurant on a wooden deck with spectacular views.

Day 5: Swaziland to Pretoria
Distance: 400km
Highlights: Relaxing drive through African Countryside
Overnight Pretoria
Time to head back to Pretoria. After breakfast we start the journey back! It is a nice relaxing ride through the interior of South Africa.

Day 6: Train Trip to Worcester
Distance: 1200km (by train)
Highlights: Scenic Train Journey
Overnight On Train
After an early start we board the overnight train to Worcester. We load the motorcycles onto the train and start the journey to the Cape mid morning. Dinner and breakfast will be served on the train. Sit back, relax and enjoy all the passing scenery and landscapes of South Africa.

Day 7: Worcester to Cape Town
Distance: 280km
Highlights: Mountain passes, Fruit farms, Amazing scenery
Overnight in Cape Town
After a delightful breakfast on the train, we arrive early in Worcester and disembark. The first day in the Cape will be full of wonderful mountain passes. We visit Ceres, right in the heart of the fruit farming region. In the late afternoon we will arrive in Cape Town and check into our hotel which is close to the city centre and the V&A Waterfront. Relax and enjoy South Africa's Mother City.

Day 8: Cape Town to Cape Point and back
Distance: 180km
Highlights: Cape Point, Simons Town, The 12 Apostles
Overnight in Cape Town
Today is another highlight of the tour- we follow the coastal roads around Cape Town and make our way through Simons Town down to Cape Point (The most South Westerly Point of Africa) and enjoy beautiful sea and mountain views. We drive past Table Mountain, Lions Head and the 12 Apostles, all breathtaking mountain formations.

Day 9: Cape Town to Franschhoek and back
Distance 300km
Highlights: Cape Wine lands
Overnight in Cape Town
Today we explore the beautiful Cape Winelands. We ride over beautiful mountains, through green valleys and past picturesque vineyards. We visit 3 major wine producing towns including Franschoek, Paarl and Stellenbosch. Enjoy great cuisine, beautiful views and old country roads.

Day 10: Cape Town to Hermanus and Back
Distance: 290km
Highlights: Coastal road
Overnight in Cape Town
We take in more beautiful passes, before arriving at Hermanus, South Africa's most famous land-based whale watching destination. In season (June through November) we are able to view whales right off the cliffs. The journey from here to Cape Town is a personal favorite- it hugs the coastline all the way- (Bikers heaven!!)

Day 11: End of tour
Sadly your tour of South Africa has come to an end. We guarantee that you will take home loads of awesome photographs and fond memories of South Africa and the warm people you have met. Transfers will be arranged to the airport. If you like, you can join your motorcycle on a return train trip to Johannesburg (by prior arrangement).
