Swaziland is a landlocked country, sharing a border with South Africa and Mozambique.  It is among the smallest countries on the continent and is one of Africa's few remaining monarchies.  It is surprising how much there is to do here - the royal ceremonies, wildlife reserves and superb scenery are more than enough reason to visit. 

The mountain kingdom of Lesotho is also landlocked, sharing all its borders with South Africa.  It is a spectacular and natural country; many of the more remote areas have barely been disturbed by man. Pony trekking is an interesting way to experience the unique flora fauna, and cultures.
