ITINERARY DETAILS
Days 1-3: Hwange National Park
Your Zimbabwe adventure begins with three nights in the heart of the vast Hwange National Park, known for its large herds of plains game, thriving big cat population and, of course, its many elephants.
Twice per day, you’ll head out on scenic game-viewing drives that will take you through small sections of forest and into Hwange’s famous open plains. Here, the action often centers around waterholes maintained by the park board, which draw predators and prey alike.
SAMPLE ACCOMODATIONS
Linkwasha, Little Makalolo, Davisons Camp, Somalisa, Camp Hwange, The Hide
Days 4-6: Mana Pools National Park
Leaving behind the wide, flat expanses of Hwange, you’ll fly to Mana Pools National Park on the banks of the Zambezi. Here, you’ll explore the forest and marshy floodplains along the river, enjoying the breathtaking backdrop of the hills of nearby Zambia.
The chance for game drives, sleep-outs, and ample river activities will give you a diverse safari experience in Mana Pools. Perhaps you’ll fish for tiger and bream fish (strictly catch and release) on the Zambezi, keeping an eye out for the crocodiles that lounge along the river’s edge. As the sun sets over the river, creating a spectacular show, you may find the nearby hippos serenade you as you fall asleep.

Days 7-8: Victoria Falls
End your trip with a visit to magnificent Victoria Falls, one of the continent’s star attractions. Here, you can continue your inclusive safari experience at an intimate private camp outside the town, or treat yourself to a stay in one of the convenient hotels in town. Either way, you’ll have plenty to do after visiting the falls, including taking a guided nature walk, rafting, canoeing, bungee jumping, and embarking on an epic helicopter or microlight flight. From there, a sunset cruise on the Zambezi is the perfect way to toast to your incredible adventure.
