ITINERARY DETAILS
Days 1-4: South Luangwa National Park
Zambia’s premier National Park – the South Luangwa, is one of the greatest wildlife sanctuaries in the world. Covering 3,500 square miles the Park is unfenced and bordered to the west by a steep escarpment and to the east by the Luangwa River. Concentrations of game along the meandering Luangwa River and its lagoons are amongst the most intense in Africa. The river teems with hippo and crocodile and provides a lifeline for one of the greatest diversities of habitat and wildlife, supporting more than 60 species of mammals and over 400 species of birds.

Days 4-7: South Luangwa National Park
Activities in the park can be a mixture of game drives and walking. The wildlife in the area is prolific and memories of the experience of tracking big game on foot last a lifetime. Walks can be complemented by game drives and explorations upriver to find the elusive Roan antelope or reed buck, eland and hartebeest which are almost never see in other parts of the Park.

Days 7-10: Lower Zambezi National Park
Enjoy a scenic flight to the Lower Zambezi where you will see the wide Zambezi River, dotted with islands. Buffalo and elephant are always seen feeding along with the pods of hippos that rest on the edge of the sandbanks. A game drive from the airstrip to camp introduces you to the game of Lower Zambezi.
The Lower Zambezi National park offers a variety of activities to choose from: exciting day and night drives and bush walks, and selection of canoe trips, river safaris on safe, stable pontoon boats and catch & release angling for the infamous tiger fish.
